zwischen- wort- welten
a dance project for and with children living in the Home&Care social housing as well as with other young participants from our previous programms

context
- a 6-week dance project focused on trust-building, body awareness, and creative expression through non-verbal play
- we worked with a group of 10–13-year-olds — an age of exploration, transition, and rapid change
what we did
- held at Familienzentrum Villa Lützow, the program brought together 15 participants for weekly sessions combining dance, movement, music, craft, and multilingual play
- together, we explored how stories, emotions, and shared space can become material for choreography
financial support
Kultur Macht Stark, ChanceTanz and Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung
framework
flexible, process-based structure, responsive to the needs and rhythms of a dynamic and mixed-age group
process
we used guided improvisation, group choreography, and collaborative scene-making to help participants co-create a performance
outcomes
the final piece was presented at an open family festival at Uferstudios, where the group shared their movement-based stories with a live audience
