PLAY! Berlin is a nonprofit organization supporting children with refugee and forced migration experience in Berlin since 2022
We believe that every child has the right to play, create and participate in cultural life. Creativity and play are not extras — they are an essential part of childhood.
Forced migration can disrupt many things, but childhood should not be one of them.
Through art, play and collaborative creative projects, we create spaces where children can express themselves, build relationships, explore new environments and feel a sense of belonging. Our programs take place directly in communities across Berlin, including refugee accommodation centers, family centers, schools and neighborhood spaces.
What we do
Our work combines artistic practice, play and community building. We run weekly programs, holiday camps and family festivals that bring together children, families, artists, educators and local communities.

In 2025, PLAY! Berlin received the Integrationspreis for its contribution to inclusion and community participation.
