10-day artistic city camp for children from Ukraine

in August 2025, we hosted our third seasonal camp — and the first one outside a refugee center. Held at Café Aviator in Berlin’s Wedding district, it welcomed 65 children (ages 6–17), all of whom had arrived from Ukraine within the past three years. About 30% had already taken part in PLAY! Berlin programs
what we did
for ten days, we co-created a space of creativity, play, and trust — with workshops, shared meals, games, walks, artistic experiments, and daily reflections

on the final day, we opened a group exhibition and welcomed families. Children celebrated with dancing and games, while parents met with our educators and psychologists to share feedback and reflections
