Winter camp 2026
our fourth creative camp for children with refugee experience in Berlin
This Winter Creative Camp brought together 45 children for five days of art, movement, games and shared exploration at KiezLab.
Nearly 70% of participants had attended previous camps, making the week feel like a joyful reunion where returning children welcomed newcomers, friendships continued to grow, and new connections formed naturally.
The program explored the question: What makes the best holiday ever?
Through artist-led workshops, participant-led pop-up activities and plenty of space for free play, children created new worlds, reflected on their experiences and shaped their own idea of the perfect holiday together.
The week ended with a colorful disco-carnival celebrating everything that had emerged from our week of creative exploration.
